Tiara Carr
Office Manager
Tiara Carr joins Maryland Carey Law as the Office Manager for the Center for Health and Homeland Security (CHHS).
Tiara is an evening student at Carey Law and comes to us from Johns Hopkins University where she worked as a Legal Assistant in the Office of the Vice President General Counsel. Prior to working at Johns Hopkins, Tiara was a courtroom clerk in the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center, where she was first encouraged to go to law school based on her genuine interest in the cases she witnessed.
Tiara graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism from Hampton University in 2008, during which time she interned at WMAR Channel 2 News (Baltimore), The Daily Press (Newport News, VA), and the Scripps Howard Foundation Wire (D.C).
During her first year at Carey Law, Tiara became a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International (P.A.D.), the Black Law Students Association (BLSA), and the Alliance of Black Women Attorneys (ABWA).
