Senior Law & Policy Analyst
Frank Maldarelli joined CHHS as a Law & Policy Analyst in October 2020. He earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in English from St. Ignatius Loyola University of Maryland, and graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in 2020. While studying at the School of Law, he completed the Health Law Program, earning the Concentration in Health Law Certificate. His research for the program included a comprehensive review of Botswana’s successful national HIV/AIDS strategy, with an analysis of how certain elements of its plan could be incorporated into both international and local policies to achieve better outcomes in controlling the global HIV/AIDS pandemic.
Prior to joining CHHS, Mr. Maldarelli worked as a law clerk, first for the Maryland Office of Administrative Hearings, and later for the Maryland Office of the Attorney General (OAG) for the Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA). While supporting the OAG, he drafted an appellate brief for a major agency case pending before the Maryland Court of Appeals; the court ultimately found in favor of the MVA.
He is currently supporting District of Columbia Homeland Security & Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA) as a Program Manager for the DC Presidential Inaugural Committee.
