Law & Policy Analyst

Julia Zheng joined CHHS as a Law & Policy Analyst in February 2022. She graduated magna cum laude from Washington College with a B.A. in Political Science and was admitted to the Phi Beta Kappa Society and the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society. While completing her undergraduate studies, Julia worked for a state senator at the Maryland General Assembly, where she provided testimony for and helped to pass the Rape Survivor Family Protection Act.

After completing her undergraduate degree, Julia attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she obtained a J.D., graduating with cum laude honors. Julia served as a mentor in the Asian Pacific American Students Law Association (APALSA). During her law school studies, Julia worked as a law clerk at Baltimore County Public Schools. In her final year, she worked as a student attorney in the Bronfein Family Law Clinic and was recognized with the Clinic Excellence Award for her representation in two complex cases dealing with divorce and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.
