Megan Slaton, MPH
Senior Policy Analyst
Megan Slaton joined CHHS in May 2021 as a Policy Analyst (Research Associate) and is currently working with the Prince George’s County Health Department’s Public Health Emergency Preparedness – Office of the Health Officer.
Megan holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a concentration in Community and Population Health from University of Maryland, Baltimore and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of North Texas. Prior to completing her MPH degree, Megan’s capstone project “Developing an Asthma Educational Protocol for Primary Care Physicians to Refer Asthmatic Children to Asthma Specialists in Baltimore City” was created at the Baltimore City Health Department.
Before working at CHHS, Megan worked for a local health department as their public health emergency planner focused on public health emergency planning, response, and recovery efforts and managed their emergency preparedness program. Megan combines her emergency preparedness experience with experience working in healthcare.
